Its capital Cardiff is a safe and vibrant multicultural city with fantastic shopping districts and numerous sports and cultural activities. A welcoming city for students, with three universities located in the center, easy to access on foot or by bike.
Sport is an important part of Welsh culture especially football and rugby. Cardiff has impressive venues – The Principality (former Millennium) Stadium and The Cardiff City Stadium – as well as the best rugby and football teams, Cardiff Blues and Cardiff City Football Club.
The city hosted the UEFA Champions League final in June 2017.
In addition, Cardiff is connected to all major cities in the UK: London in less than 2 hours by train.
Liberty Park is a private residence located in the heart of Cardiff University, right in the city center, opposite The Principality Stadium and 5 minute walk from the train station.
The rooms are individual and spacious: you will enjoy a large double bed with bed linen, a desk, a large wardrobe, storage under the bed and a bathroom.
The wifi is unlimited.
With more than thirty nationalities hosted and common rooms accessible 7/7, you will be able to make new friends in a multicultural environment.
You will be responsible for purchasing your own food from our partner ASDA with a credit card. This card will be given to you at the beginning of each month. This device will allow you to take responsibility and encourage you to manage your budget.
The Liberty Park offers players a common kitchen with oven, toaster, hotplates, fridge-freezer, microwave oven etc. There will be no excuse for eating an unhealthy diet.
At noon, at Cardiff International Sports Campus, you will have access to a restaurant area, if needed.
You will learn how to cook for yourself and eat well – no junk food!
